Glued in place with epoxy, these lightweight arbors create a super strong bond between the reel seat and the rod blank that increases sensitivity. The arbor is a solid, semi-porous polyurethane material that is machined to fit most sizes of reel seats and can be turned down to fit between sizes. All arbors have a 1/4” inside diameter pilot hole which can be easily reamed or drilled out to fit any rod blank.

The pilot drill bit guides itself through a pre-existing hole in order to increase the diameter. These tools are made from spade bits with an aluminum pilot on the tip. When used with a hand drill the result is a perfectly centered hole. Flex Coat Pilot Drill Bits are available in 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16”, 5/8” & special order sizes.
